  • Throw back to my former life of being a shop owner and attending market week in NYC (and also to this dream @marahoffman coat🙌🏼). Right now I’m scrolling through insta and seeing my friends that are buyers and sales reps having fun and working their asses off, and I’m sitting on the couch with a sleeping baby on my chest, too scared to move in fear of waking her up. As much as I LOVE this baby and being a mama, I also miss work and feeling creative. I’m super excited to be working on a new project, but right now it’s in 5 minute increments. So I guess the moral here is that we do what we can + should do what makes us happy, and that can be more than just one thing. 💙 #newmama #momlife
  • You can find us here on the daily. Haven’t washed my face, showered or gotten dressed. Taking swigs of coffee in between entertaining Nez and throwing Nug’s toy... We are almost two months in and every time we get the hang of something, something else changes or appears. This sh*t is not for the faint of heart but man oh man it’s awesome 💙

  • Snow days now include story time, play mats, and a living room that exploded with baby gear. Not gonna lie, the first month was pretty brutal but now Nez is smiling, looking at us and engaging more and it’s way more fun. Makes the mess and my zombie status all worth it. Cheers to month 2!

  • This is a photo of Nez and I this morning as I fed her her first full bottle of formula (don’t mind my lack of makeup or giant dark circles). If you’ve been following along with my stories, you’ll know that breastfeeding has been hellish for me since day 1. I’ve dealt with so many painful and frustrating issues and after my latest complication I decided it was time to take care of myself. This feels selfish and has come with guilt and tears, but ultimately I believe a mom should be happy too. I want to enjoy these early days with her, and deep down I know fed is best.
