My goal in starting #RealGoodsPodcast was to share stories and insight about motherhood, career, and life from incredible women that I feel lucky to call friends. Victoria was hands down at the top of my list to interview. She’s my sister-in-law, one of my absolute best friends, and my motherhood mentor, with an 8 month old that was born 3.5 months before Nez. She is one of the most open and vulnerable people I know, as you’ll quickly realize when listening.
Throughout our conversation she shares her journey to find her career calling as a marriage and family therapist, what it was like breaking the ‘golden hand cuffs’ of her esteemed tech role, body image issues throughout pregnancy, the downfalls of being a mom in the social media age, and second guessing that comes with being a new mom. She is wise beyond her years and gives incredible perspective. I felt like I’d finished up a therapy session when we wrapped up! I hope you enjoy it as much as I loved talking with her.
