After nine months, Baby Alberini is officially almost here and I finally feel like the nursery is in decent shape for her arrival! Decorating the space and filling it with all the things she needs (and let’s be real, the things she doesn’t need but I think are cute) took some time, research, advice, and sale hunting. Beyond that, I tried to incorporate as many pieces that we already owned as possible, including an indigo wall hanging, indigo poufs, and Stella Maria Baer painting that previously hung in the shop. I’m not into super girly stuff and tried to keep the palette relatively neutral, with a few pops of color to make it feel kid-friendly and cozy.

This room was originally an office/junk room, and didn’t require much work since we wanted to keep things relatively sparse and neutral. The crib was a generous hand-me-down from Pottery Barn courtesy of Tommy’s co-worker. We loved the simplicity and mid-century style of the Babyletto Hudson dresser.
We also invested in (and received at our baby shower) some baby gear for our room and a few things that aren’t pictured in the nursery. See below for the list and click the links to shop!
